Recognizing the need to offer workplace training and exploration in an online format, the Central Virginia Workforce Development Board is seeking proposals from qualified providers who can develop a virtual services platform for the region’s career pathway development. The board issued a formal request for proposals Monday, October 5. The board has approximately $15,000 available to fund the development of a digital service that will connect students, educators, and employers in an effort to strengthen the local workforce. The deadline for proposal submissions is 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 22.
