Southern Air is looking for skilled professionals to fill the following positions (search job openings on the Virginia Workforce Connection at vawc.virginia.gov by entering the job order (JO) numbers below):
Sheet Metal Mechanic – JO#3989484
1–3 years of experience in sheet-metal performing in commercial installation and/or equivalent combination of vocational training and experience. Pay: $18–$26/hr DOE.Electrician – JO#3989483
1+ years of experience in the electrical field in residential, commercial, or industrial environments; or equivalent combination of vocational training and experience. Pay: $16–$37/hr DOE.Plumber – JO#3989846
1–3 years of experience as a plumbing apprentice in commercial or residential installation and/or equivalent combination of vocational training and experience. Journeyman or Master Plumber’s License preferred. Pay: $16–$37/hr DOE.Pipe Fitter / Pipe Welder – JO#3989844
5 years of experience in the piping field. Must be experienced with carbon steel piping, stainless steel piping, stainless steel tubing, PVC, copper, and weld pipe. Must have essential hand tools expected for trade. Pay: $18–$26/hr DOE.
