The Executive Committee of the Central Virginia Workforce Development Board reviews recommendations and action items advanced by the Board’s standing committees and makes recommendations to the full Central Virginia Workforce Development Board. When timely action is necessary and convening the full Board is impractical, the Executive Committee may act on the Board’s behalf, subject to ratification at the next regularly scheduled Board meeting. The committee also provides direction and oversight for the activities of the Workforce Development Board.
